About this tool

The duration is the end time minus the start time. When the end is earlier than the start, 24 hours are added, which suits night shifts such as 22:00 to 06:00 (8 hours). Decimal hours divide the minutes by 60, so 7 hours 30 minutes is 7.5 hours.
