About this tool

Days and weeks are added exactly. Months and years are added as calendar units: 15 January plus 1 month is 15 February. If the target month is shorter, the last day of that month is used, so 31 January plus 1 month is the last day of February.

Typical uses are deadlines, due dates, warranty and return periods, and finding a date a number of days ago. Calculations are done in whole days and are not affected by daylight-saving changes.
