About this tool
Cost per unit = materials + labour (hours × hourly cost) + other per-unit costs + batch overhead ÷ number of units. Spreading overhead across the batch shows why larger batches usually cost less per unit.
The suggested price is cost ÷ (1 − margin). Remember platform fees, returns, advertising and your own time when deciding a price. These are estimates for planning and are not accounting, tax or legal advice.
